VERITY · Fractional Executive Leadership

Executive leadership without the full-time hire.
C-suite direction, embedded on your terms.

Bridge embeds vCAIO, vCISO, vCTO, and vCIO leadership into mid-market organizations that need C-suite direction now — not a six-month search, and not a full-time salary and equity package.

Program Overview

What Is Verity Bridge?

Verity Bridge is Armorstack’s fractional-executive practice — embedded C-suite leadership for mid-market organizations that have outgrown ad-hoc security and technology decisions but aren’t ready to carry a full executive compensation package. A Bridge executive sits in your leadership meetings, owns a budget and a roadmap, reports to your board, and is accountable for outcomes — not just a set of recommendations handed off to whoever is left holding the pager.

Engagements are typically triggered by a specific event: a compliance deadline your organization has no executive owner for, a board or investor requiring named security/technology leadership, an M&A transaction needing technical due diligence, a departed CISO/CTO/CIO with no succession plan, or a first-time AI initiative with no one accountable for its governance. Verity Bridge fills that seat on a fractional basis, typically two to four days per month of dedicated executive time plus on-call availability, with the option to convert to a full build-out under Verity Govern or a full AI program under Verity AI.

Who This Is For

Who Needs Verity Bridge

Mid-Market Organizations

Companies past the point where security/technology decisions can be informal, but not yet at the scale that justifies a full executive team.

Post-Departure Gaps

A CISO, CTO, or CIO has left and there is no succession plan — leadership continuity is needed immediately, not after a search.

Board & Investor Mandates

A board, lender, or investor is requiring named executive ownership of security, technology, or AI risk as a condition of the relationship.

M&A Transactions

Buy-side or sell-side technical and security due diligence, integration planning, or post-close leadership continuity.

Differentiators

Why Armorstack Verity

Named, Accountable Executive

Not a rotating pool of consultants — a single named executive who sits in your meetings and owns your roadmap.

Converged With Sentry & Core

Your Bridge executive can direct Armorstack’s operating portfolios directly — no translation layer between strategy and execution.

Fractional, Not Diluted

No equity grant, no recruiting fee, no severance exposure — a scoped monthly engagement you can right-size as needs change.

Written Engagement Agreement

Every Verity Bridge engagement is scoped in writing with defined cadence, deliverables, and reporting line before work begins.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much time does a fractional executive actually spend with us?
Most Verity Bridge engagements run two to four dedicated days per month plus on-call availability for board meetings, incidents, and time-sensitive decisions. The exact cadence is set in the written engagement agreement.
Can a Verity Bridge executive sign our SOC 2 or board reports as an accountable officer?
Yes. Bridge executives operate as your named vCISO/vCTO/vCIO/vCAIO for audit, board, and cyber-insurance purposes, including attesting to program status where your auditor or insurer requires a named accountable executive.
What happens if we outgrow a fractional executive?
Many engagements convert into a full-time hiring search that the Bridge executive helps run, or scale into a larger embedded program under Verity Govern or Verity AI. There is no penalty for transitioning off Verity Bridge.
Do you require a long-term contract?
Engagements are scoped for a defined initial term (typically 6-12 months) with month-to-month continuation after that, so you are never locked into a multi-year commitment for an executive relationship.
How is this different from a traditional consulting engagement?
Consultants deliver recommendations. A Verity Bridge executive owns the outcome — they hold budget authority, attend your leadership and board meetings, and are accountable the way an internal hire would be.
