Verity Managed AI Operations

Deploying an AI system isn’t the finish line. Someone has to own uptime, cost, model changes, evaluation drift, and incident response — on an ongoing basis, not as an afterthought.

The Problem

AI Systems Left Unowned After Deployment

A production AI system that no one owns after go-live drifts quietly: retrieval quality degrades as source content changes, model providers change pricing or deprecate versions without warning, inference costs creep upward unnoticed, and evaluation scores no one is watching slide below the threshold that made the system trustworthy in the first place.

Verity Managed AI Operations is the recurring service that keeps a deployed AI system accountable — using and extending the observability practice Armorstack already runs under Verity Observe, applied specifically to the operational realities of AI systems.

Five Pillars

What We Operate

Delivered as an ongoing managed service, not a one-time handoff.

Operate

Availability monitoring and provider/model management — version changes, deprecations, and pricing shifts handled before they become an outage or a surprise invoice.

Secure

Ongoing security monitoring in continuity with SENTRY AI Security — the same controls established at build time, watched continuously after launch.

Evaluate

Continuous evaluation monitoring for retrieval quality, response accuracy, and drift — scored against the thresholds set when the system was validated for production.

Optimize

Inference cost monitoring and tuning — catching cost creep and retrieval inefficiency before it shows up as an unexplained line item.

Govern

Ongoing audit evidence and human-approval records, kept current with your AI Governance Program rather than assembled after a regulator or customer asks.

How This Connects to Launch and Engineering

The team that designs and builds your system under Enterprise AI Engineering and Verity AI Launch is the same team that operates it afterward — continuity of context, not a handoff to a separate support desk that has to relearn your system from scratch.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as Verity Observe?
No. Verity Observe is Armorstack’s broader observability and monitoring practice, covering infrastructure, applications, and predictive analytics generally. Managed AI Operations is the AI-specific recurring service layer that uses Observe’s underlying capability, applied to the particular operational demands of AI systems — model/provider management, inference cost, and evaluation drift.
Do you require us to have built the system with Armorstack?
No. While continuity from a Verity AI Launch or Enterprise AI Engineering engagement is the most seamless path, Managed AI Operations can take on an existing AI system built elsewhere after an onboarding assessment.
What does “evaluation drift” actually mean?
It’s the gradual degradation of a system’s output quality over time — retrieval returning less relevant results as source content changes, or response accuracy slipping below the threshold established during validation. We monitor for it continuously rather than waiting for a user complaint.
